About Us

Founded in 1971 under the leadership of Rabbi Benjamin Bak, zt"l,, Shomrei Emunah is an Orthodox synagogue that has grown from an initial membership of 13 families to more than 500 member families today. Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb, currently the Executive VP of the Orthodox Union succeeded Rabbi Bak and served the congregation for 13 years. Rabbi Dovid Gottlieb served as Rabbi from 2003 to 2009.

In 2010 Rabbi Binyamin Marwick was appointed Rabbi of the congregation. His passion, commitment to the community, and scholarly background are hallmarks of the congregation as a whole.
